With the long Summer holidays it can be hard to think of something to keep the little ones occupied throughout the year so you’ll be pleased at how many children’s theme parks are popping up around the country. Whatever the ages of your children there is sure to be a theme park that will make a great day out for the family and let the children burn some of that excess energy off. Here are just a few inspiring options that you might like to consider throughout the Summer, who know you might decide to go to several.

For the younger ones why not take a trip to Paulton’ Family Theme Park in Hampshire, home of Peppa Pig world. A very popular cartoon they will know Peppa Pig from television and books so they are sure to enjoy all the rides and attractions based on Peppa Pig’s adventures. Not just for the little ones there are rides for children of all ages in the Paulton’ Park, perfect for the family who has children of mixed ages to keep happy. There’s also plenty of seasonal shows to watch as well including Tatty Teddy and for something you can see every day why not see the penguins being fed or take in some comedy at the clown show! There are lots of Hampshire holiday parks which take advantage of the countryside as well as the local attractions.

If rides just aren’t up their street why not try the Warner Brother’s Harry Potter Studio Tour, see the books and films come to life with the Great Hall and Dumbledore’s office being just the tip of the iceberg. Learn about how the films were made and get up close with some of the most iconic props from the film including Harry’s Nimbus 2000!  Kids will find this a Summer break to remember when their imaginations run wild, coming to life with these iconic characters and settings, there’s even a complete model of Hogwarts Castle built for the first film.

No matter where in the country you are there is sure to be a theme park near you, Chessington World of Adventures, offering not only rides and amusements but the chance to get up close and personal with underwater wonders in their SeaLife centre and creepy crawlies, and Drayton Manor with its 15 acres of Zoo to explore, offer another two options both with completely different attractions the hardest decision you will have to make is which one you are going to visit first. We all know at the busiest time of year you may need more than one day to full appreciate what’s on offer so why risk cutting your trip short, book a stay at a holiday park and enjoy it all at a leisurely pace. Take the stress out of occupying the little ones and spend a day with all the thrills and spills a theme park can offer the whole family, don’t forget to take a camera for those unforgettable moments!
